Home to more than 20 UNESCO sanctioned GeoSites, Izu can easily be visited from your home-base located in Matsuzaki.
One of the more popular activities that takes place at Itokawa on Weekends is the Yatai event that is put on by the Ito-san family. All guests are invited to join the Matsuzaki community as they get together around the yatai that you see in the attached photos.
Unfortunately, Covid-19 has put a stop to this activity for a while so this fun event is not being held at the present.
